Good things take time

... or the reason why it took us so much time to update our blog.

From last Tuesday to Saturday, we were travelling with our friends Izaskun, Kepa and Galder in the Basque country - see Basque flag on the right), more precisely on the roads of the Biscay, North of Spain, quite ignored from the rest of the world unfortunately AND WRONGLY!


We rented a car upon arrival at the airport, started
our "guided tour" right away with Portugalete and its "Eiffel tower": the Puente Colgante, the oldest transporter bridge of the world according to its owners. For more details, see www.puente-colgante.com




The visit went on during the following days with Gernika, the Unesco Biosphere Natural Reserve of Urdaibai (beautiful, btw!), Bermeo and of course THE "Guggenheim-city" of Spain: Bilbao. Discovering the regional Haute Cuisine at our friend's house as well as in very good restaurants was of course "part of the deal" as well.
