Back from Shanghai

Dear all, our holiday ended yesterday. Back from Shanghai where we picked up Gabriel's grand grand-parents, our"normal" daily life has returned... until next week. Has any of you seen Florence yet?

If you give us one or two more days, you'll be able to see a few pictures of our last trips (Montréal and Shanghai).

By the way, Shanghai's weather was so hot and humid, the air so polluted that I hardly took 10 shots during our entire stay (4 days). The blue sky was mostly hidden behind a yellow-gray curtain of thick clouds. The last time I was in Shanghai was in November 2004. The air pollution today is a lot worst than 3 years ago. Awful. I've even heard that the Olympics in Beijing (1000km north of Shanghai) might be postponed or might even not take place next year if the situation remains the same on the Chinese Eastern coast. That could only be a rumor though.

Anyway, for a short trip and meeting family and friends, Shanghai is still worth it... even if one needs a "detox week" after the journey ;-)
