Benvenuti a Firenze

Ready for take off!

We spent last weekend in Florence meeting Bing Xiu and, for Gabriel and me, discovering an amazing city... with a huge history.

My first impressions? Well to my opinion the beauty of this city has either been exaggerated or partly lost with time. Pollution, dirtiness, an architecture that seems to have lost its "glance" because it has been neglected by its inhabitants... lots of complaints, but Florence still has its charm.

I'm afraid I was just unable to see it... and you will understand why if you take a look at the pictures I took during our stay...

We'll be back someday just to make sure that Florence does have something worth "living for" that I haven't yet discovered during our short 3 day trip.
